we have given 
 volume of the cone = 9856 cm³
and area of its base is = 616 cm²

we have to find 
(1) slant height if the cone = ? 
(2) total surface area of the cone = ? 

solution :-
we know that 
slant height (l) of the cone = √ ( r² + h²)
volume of cone = πr²h/3
and 
surface area of cone = πr{r + l }

now
given that 
area of its base is = 616 cm²
=> πr² = 616
=> r² = 616 / π
=> r² =196.178 
=> r = 14.01 ≈ 14 cm
