Given that :-

  • Volume of cylinder = 1100 cm³
  • Base radius = 5 cm

To find:-

  • CSA of cylinder .

Solution :-

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

According to the question

Volume = 1100cm³

1100 = 22/7 × 5² × h

h \:  =  \:  \frac{1100 \times 7}{22 \times 5 \times 5}  \\

h \:  =  \:  \frac{7700}{550}  \\

h = 14 cm

Now , as we know that CSA= 2πrh .

.°. CSA = (2 × 22 × 5 × 14 )/7

→ 3080/7

→ 440 cm²

Hence , CSA of cylinder is 440 cm²
