the volume of a solid block of mass 180gram is 100cm³. if the block is placed in water of density 1gm/cm³ will it float or sink explain​

Density = mass / volume

density of the solid block =m / V

=180/100 g/cm^3

=1.8 g/cm^3

We know that , The block is placed in water of density 1gm/cm³ .

Since the density of the block is greater than the density of the water, the solid block will sink in water.
