The volume of a thin brass vessel and that of a solid brass cube are both equal to 1 litre exactly .What will be their new volumes when heated through 25 degree celsius .Alpha for brass is 1.9*10^-5

Change in volume:△V=γ V △t =3 α V △t =3×1.9×10−5×0.001×25 [ since 1 L = 0.001 m3 ] =1.43×10−6 m3As initial volume is same for both, the change in volume is same for both vessel and solid cube.
