Answer:3.75m

Explanation:

It is difficult to explain like this

From Boyle's law product of pressure and volume at the bottom is equal to the pressure and volume

Solving the equation can give the answer

We can assume that the process is isothermal because the temperature of the surrounding remains constant

So, by applying Boyle’s law

Ps Vs= Pd Vd......(1)

Where, s = surface of water

d=depth

Given that,

Depth of lake =h

Volume Vs= 3Vd

Now,

Ps=75 cmHG

pd = 75 +  \frac{h}{10}

Now, put the value of equation(l)

75 \times 3 = 75 +  \frac{h}{10}  \\ 225 - 75 =  \frac{h}{10}

h=1500cm

h=15m

Hence, the depth of lake is 15 m
