Answer:

let the breadth and height of the cuboid is 3x and 2x

so

l×b×h=1536m³

16m×3x×2x=1536m³

6x²=1536m³/16m

x²=96/6m²

x²=16

x=

 \sqrt{16}

x=4

so

3x=3×4=12

2x=2×4=8

hope it help

\sf\large\underline\blue{Given:}

\sf{\implies Volume\:_{(cuboid)}=1536m^3}

\sf{\implies Length\:_{(cuboid)}=16m}

\sf{\implies Cuboid\:_{(breadth:\: height)}=3:2}

\sf\large\underline\blue{To\: Find:}

\sf{\implies Cuboid\:_{(breadth\:and\: height)}=?}

\sf\large\underline\blue{Solution:}

  • At first we have to assume the breadth and height of cuboid be x then applying the formula of volume of cuboid to calculate the value of breadth and height]

\sf\large\underline\blue{Formula\: Used:}

\sf\large\underline{Let,\: breadth=3x\:\: height=2x:}

\tt{\implies Volume\:_{(cuboid)}=l*b*h}

\tt{\implies 16*3x*2x=1536}

\tt{\implies 96x^2=1536}

\tt{\implies x^2=16\implies x=\sqrt{16}=4}

\sf\large{Hence,}

\sf{\implies Breadth\:_{(cuboid)}=3x=3*4=12m}

\sf{\implies Height\:_{(cuboid)}=2x=2*4=8m}
