Marble means caco3

100 gm of caco3 gives 24 dm3 of co2 at ntp

So 1 gm of caco3 gives 24 ÷ 100

= 0.24

Hope it helps youpls

The reaction to be considered here,

CaCO₃ + 2HCl → CaCl₂ + H₂O + CO₂

From the reaction, 1 mole CaCO₃ produces 1 mole of  CO₂

or, 100 gm CaCO₃ produces 1 mole of  CO₂

or, 1 gm CaCO₃ produces = (1/100) mole of  CO₂

At NTP, volume of 1 mole gas is 22.4 L

Thus, volume of (1/100) mole of CO₂ = (22.4/100) L = 0.224 L
