Volume of cone = 12 cm

Radius of cone = 3 cm

Volume of cone

 = \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2}h \\ \\ = > 12 = \frac{1}{3}\pi ({3})^{2}h \\ \\ = > \frac{12 \times 3}{9\pi} = h \\ \\ = > \frac{36 \times 7}{9 \times 22} = h \\ \\ = > \frac{28}{22} = h \\ \\

Hence h = 1.25 cm

slant height =

 \sqrt{ {h}^{2} + {r}^{2} } \\ \\ = \sqrt{ ({1.25})^{2} } + ({3})^{2} \\ \\ = \sqrt{1.5625} + 9 \\ \\ = \sqrt{10.5625} \\ \\ = 3.25 \: cm

Hence , slant height of cone

= 3.25 cm
