diagonal of a cube =
a \sqrt{2}
6 = a \sqrt{2}
a =  \frac{6}{ \sqrt{2} }
a = 3 \sqrt{2}
so, volume of cube =
 {a}^{3}
=
 {3 \sqrt{2} }^{3}
=
54 \sqrt{2}
