THE RADIUS OF CYLINDER IS 7 CM

THE HEIGHT OF CYLINDER IS 5 CM

volume of cylinder is = π r²

=22/7×7×7×5

= 22×35

= 770 cm³ is your answer

HOPE IT'S HELPFUL TO YOU.

Given:

  • Radius of cylinder = 7cm
  • Height of cylinder = 5cm

To Find:

  • Volume of cylinder.

Formula Used:

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Where,

  • π = (default) 22/7
  • r = radius of cylinder
  • h = height of cylinder

Solution:

This question is given from chapter Mensuration. This is a very important chapter for future all classes. Mensuration is the branch of mathematics that studies the measurement of geometric figures and their parameters like length, volume, shape, surface area, lateral surface area, etc.

Here is this question we have got the formula and the values. We only need here to find the Volume. So we will put the values in the formula.

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

→ Volume = 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 5

→ Volume = 22 × 7 × 5

→ Volume = 22 × 35

→ Volume = 770 cm³

So, the volume of cylinder is 770 cm³.
