Hii !!

Height of cylinder ( H ) = 8 cm

Volume of cylinder = 1232

πR²H = 1232

22/7 × R² × 8 = 1232

R² = ( 1232 × 7 ) / ( 22 × 8 )

R² = 8624/176

R² = 49

R = √49 = 7 cm.

Therefore,

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πRH = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 8 = 352 cm².

And,

Total surface area of cylinder = 2πR ( R + H ) = 2 × 22/7 × 7 ( 7 + 8 ) = 44 ( 15 ) = 660 cm².

according to questions

given:-

Height (h ) = 8 cm

volume of cylinder = 1232 cm3

find :-

curved surface area ( c s a ) = ?

Total surface area ( T S A ) = ?

using formula :-

volume of cylinder = πr2h

πr2h = 1232cm3

 \frac{22}{7} \times {r}^{2} \times 8 = 1232 {cm}^{3} \\ \\ {r}^{2} = \frac{ 1232 \times 7\: }{22 \times 8} \\ \\ {r}^{2} = \frac{8624}{176} = 49 \\ \\ {r}^{2} = 49 \\ \\ r = \sqrt{49} \\ \\ r = 7cm

then find

curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 8 \: \\ \\ = 16 \times 22 \\ \\ = 352 {cm}^{2}

next

total surface area ( TSA ) = 2πr( r + h)

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7(7 + 8) \\ \\ 44(7 + 8) \\ \\ = 44(15) \\ \\ = 660 {cm}^{2} \\ \\ be \: brainly
