Vol. of cone is 9856 cm³,
Diametre of base is 28 cm
So, radius,r = 1\2×28
r = 14 cm
Let the height of cone = h
So,vol. of cone = πr²h
9856 = 22\7×14²×h
h = 9856×7\22×196
h = 16 cm
and,let the slant height = l
l= √h² + r²
l = √ 16² + 14²
l = √256 + 196
l = √2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×
2×2×7×7
l = 2×2×2×2×2×7
l = 224 cm
So, c.s.a = πrl
= 22\7×14×224
= 9856.
