Volume of a cube = length x length x length

.

Given Volume = 2.744 cm³ , find length:

2.744 = length x length x length

2.744 = length³

length³ = 2.744

length = ∛2.744

length = 1.4

.

Answer: The length is 1.4 cm

Hola !!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWERR ________________

VOLUME :

The volume is the amount of space that a shape takes up in three dimensions.

Volume of a CUBE :

For a cube , since

Length = Breadth = Height

Volume = l × l × l = l³ cubic units

Given ,

Volume = 2.774 cubic centimetres

One side or edge of a cube = ³√volume i.e. cube root of the volume

 \sqrt[3]{2.774}  \\  \\   = \sqrt[3] \frac{2774}{1000}  \\  \\   = \frac{14}{10}  \\  \\  =  \: 1.4 \: centimetres

Hope it helps....
