Your Answer:

Given:-

  • Volume of Cuboid=3584cm^3
  • Height is 14cm
  • Length=Breadth=x

To find:-

  • Side of the Square Base

Solution:-

\tt Volume\: of \:Cuboid= length \times breadth \times height \\\\ \tt length\times breadth\times height=3584\\\\ \tt x^{2}\times14=3584\\\\ \tt x^{2}=\frac{3584}{14}\\\\ \tt x^{2}=256 \\\\\tt x=\sqrt{256}\\\\  \tt x  = 16

So, the side of square is 16.

Given :

• Volume of the cuboid = 3584 cm³

• Base of the cuboid is a square

• Height = 14 cm

To Find :

• The side of the square base

Solution :

Let the side of square base be a

→ Length = Breadth = a

★ Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

→ 3584 = a × a × 14

→ 3584 = a² × 14

→ a² = \sf\dfrac{3584}{14}

→ a² = 256

→ a = √256

a = 16 cm

\therefore Side of square base is 16 cm
