the volume of the cylinder is 308cm cube. the radius of its base is 3.5cm. find its curved surface area and total surface area. ​

curved surface area of cylinder

=2Πthe

=2 × 3.14 × 3.5. × 308

=6769.84 sq.cm

total surface area of cylinder

=2Πr(r+h)

=2 × 3.14 × 3.5 (3.5 + 308)

=2 × 3.14 × 3.5 × 1078

=23694.44 sq.cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

308= πr²h

308 = 22/7×3.5×3.5×h

308 = 38.5 × h

308/38.5 = h

8 cm = h

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

CSA = 2×22/7×3.5×8

CSA = 2×11×8 = 196 cm²

TSA of cylinder = 2πr ( r + h )

TSA = 2×22/7×3.5 (3.5 + 8)

TSA = 2×11×(11.5)

TSA = 22×11.5 = 253 cm²
