  • Volume of pyramid = 36 cm

To Find :

  • Volume of prism

Solution :

Volume of pyramid = L × B × H/3

Where,

  • Length of pyramid = L
  • Breadth of pyramid = B
  • Height of pyramid = H

➢ Volume of pyramid = 36 cm

➢ Volume of prism = Volume of pyramid

➢ Volume of prism = 3 × Vof pyramid

➢ Volume of prism = 3 × 36

➢ Volume of prism = 108 cm³

Hence, Volume of prism is 108 cm³

Given : volume of the pyramid is 36 cubic cm,

To  find  : the volume of prism

Solution:

Assume that  Area of  Base of  Pyramid and Prism  is A

and height is H for both

Volume of Prism =  Base area * height

=> Volume of Prism =  AH

Volume of Pyramid = (1/3) Base area * height  

=> Volume of Pyramid =  (1/3) AH

Volume of Pyramid = 36 cubic cm

=>  (1/3) AH = 36

=> AH = 36 * 3

=> AH = 108

=> Volume of Prism 108 cubic cm
