Step-by-step explanation:

Gven:-

the volume of the wall is 12.8 m3.if the height of the wall is 5 time of its width and the length of the wall is 8 time its height.

To find:-

Find the area of the top of the wall .

Solution:-

Let Width of the wall be b m

Height of the wall = 5 times the width=5b m

Length of the wall = 8 times the height= 8(5b)=40b m

Volume of the wall = Volume of the cuboid

= lbh cubic units

=> (40b)×(b)×(5b) cubic m

=>200b³ cubic m -----(1)

According to the given problem,

The volume of the wall =12.8 ----(2)

from (1)&(2)

=>200b³=12.8

=>200b³=128/10

=>=(128/10)/200

=>=128/2000

=>=64/1000

=>=4³/10³

=>=(4/10)³

=>b=4/10

=>b=0.4 m

width of the wall =0.4 m

Height of the wall = 5b=5(0.4)=2 m

Length of the wall= 8h=8(2)=16 m

Area of the top of the wall = lh sq units

=>16×2

=>32

Answer:-

Length of the wall=16 m

Width of the wall = 0.4 m

Height of the wall =2 m

Area of the top of the wall = 32 sq.m
