a1³/ a2³ = 729/1331 = (9/11) ³

Here a1 is the side of first cube and a2 is the side second cube.

So taking the cube root on both sides you get

 a1/a2 = (9/11)

 

Surface area a1²/ a2² = (9/11)² = 81/121
