let the volume of water in the second tank be x

and the volume of water in the first tank = 2x

ATQ

2x - 25 = x + 25

2x - x = 50

x = 50

now ,

volume of water in ist tank = 2x = 2(50) = 100 litres

let the volume of one tank be x L
let the volume of the other tank = 2xL
the volume of the water in the first tank +25=2x-25
x=50 so volume of water in one tank=50L and volume of the water in the other tank=2X50=100L
