the volume of water in a tank is twice of that in the other if we draw out of 25 litres from the first and add it to the other the volume of the water in each tank will be the same find the value of the water in each tank

Let volume of water in first tank is V, then volume of other tank will be 2V
When 25L of water is removed from first tank, its volume becomes V-25, and when 25L is added to second tank its volume become 2V+25,
On equating them we get V=50L
