The volume of water in one tank is twice
of the volume of water in another tank. If
25 litres of water is shifted from first tank
to another tank, then both the tanks have
same volume. Find the volume of water in
both the tanks.​

50 litres in first tank and 100 litres in second one

x+25 = 2x-25

x+25+25 = 2x

x+50 = 2x

2x-x = 50

x = 50

∴ x = 50   2x = 100
