The volume of water to be added to 100cm3 of 0.5N H2SO4 to get decinormal concentration (With steps pls)

M1V1=M2V2

0.5n*100 mL= 0.1 dn *V2

(0.5 dn * 100 mL)/0.1 dn=V2

500mL = V2 (almost there, but remeber that this number is the final volume, you asked for how much to add)

500mL-100mL=Volume to add= 400mL
