x^2 = 144

x=12

volume of cuboid =(length)(breadth)(height)
since the cross section is a square, length  and breadth are of same length.

let it be 'a'

volume = a^2(10)
1440 = a^2(10)
a^2 = 144
a = 12

therefore the side of the square is 12
