We have to find the side of the cube.

As we know that the volume of a cube is calculated by side³.

\therefore The area of cube = side³

We are solving in the following way:

Let assume the side of the cube will bex.

We have,

The volume of the cube is 64,000cm³.

Now,

=> The area of cube = side³

=> 64000=x^{3} \\=>x=3\sqrt{64000} \\=>x=40

We get, x=40cm.

Hence, the value of the side of the cube will be 40cm.

To find : side of cube  

Given : volume of cube = 64,000\ cm^{3}

Solution :

  • We know that  all side of cube are equal
  • Let 'a ' be the side cube then  formula for volume of cube is given by :

               Volume \ of \ cube = a^{3}  

  • Substituting  value in above formula we get side of cube ,

         64,000 = a^{3}

                  a = \sqrt[3]{64000}

                  a = 40

Hence, side of cube is 40 cm.
