Perimeter = 2 ( l+b )

l =( 2b) +2

Rewrite l in terms of b ,

2 (( 2b) + 2 ) + b ) = 154m

4b+4+2b = 6b+4=154m

5b= 154-4=150

b=150/6=25

l =(2×25)+2=52

Length = 52m

Width = 25m

Answer:

l = 93m

b = 48m

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

perimeter = 282

also,

length = 2x -3 ||| let's breadth = x

then 2(l + b) = 282

2(2x -3 + x) = 282

2(3x - 3 ) = 282

6(x-1) = 282

x-1 = 282 /6

x-1 = 47

x = 48m

breadth = 48m

length = 2.48 -3

= 96 -3

= 93m
