Given,

A cuboid is surmounted by a half-cylinder.

The base of the warehouse is 6 m x 14 m and the height is 8 meters.

To Find,

The surface area of the non-cuboidal part.

Solution,

The area of the non-cuboidal part of the warehouse will be equal to half of the Total surface area of the cylinder.

So,

Required area = 1/2*(T.S.A of the cylinder)

Required area = 1/2( 2πr (h + r) ) = πr (h + r)

Now,

Radius of cylinder = 1/2*6 = 3 m

Height of cylinder = 14 m

So,

Required area = 22/7*3(14+3) = 22/7*17*3

Required area = 160.28 m².

Hence, the area of the non-cuboidal part of the warehouse is 160.28 m².
