The surprising thing about the Indus Valley Civilization is that there were no temples found. However, a few historians reason that the Great Bath in Mohenjodaro was part of a religious complex. Then there was a statue of a bearded man wearing a lioncloth found who is believed to have been a priest on those times. It is also said that they worshipped Mother Nature. There was also a seal on which a man was sitting in a cross legged position, surrounded by animals like cows, deer etc. (I don’t remember all). He is believed to be Pashupati or the Lord of Animals, another form of Shiva, a god who is worshipped today by many Hindus.
