→ With new technology and development, more waste is also being produced in the process.

→ This waste ends up floating around in our world's water bodies such as the ocean, lakes, ponds, rivers etc.

→ Uneducation is also a major factor. Uneducated people dump their waste in water bodies not acknowledging the fact that the water body is the source of their many basic needs.

→ Industrial waste such as harmful toxins and chemicals are also being dumped in these water bodies.

Though the world is seen rapidly growing with technology and developing, we are ignoring the factors/resources that help us achieve this. In return we are polluting these water bodies.
