The water drops are falling at regular intervals from
the tap which is h m above the ground. The third
drop is about to leave the tap when first drop
touches the ground. If the distance between the
second drop and first drop is 3.75 m, then what is
the height h?
(Assume acceleration due to gravity is 10 ms-2
downward)
(1) 7 m
(2) 7.50 m
(3) 5 m
(4) 6 m

Answer:

5 m

Explanation:

Use galeleo's law of odd numbers..

3x = 3.75

X = 3.75/3

so 4x or total height = (3.75 × 4)/3= 5m
