This week in class, we’re reading "The Water of Life" by Howard Pyle.
In Howard Pyle’s “The Water of Life”, a king abuses his power by asking a faithful servant to complete difficult tasks for him, hoping to win the love of a princess.

It shows that the powerfulness of the servant, because he equipped the armlet. At the end of the story, princess decides to marry the person that wears the armlet. But the armlet was only for the truly powerful person. The reason the king can't wear it because he only LOOKS powerful(doesn't mean he is actually powerful). At the end the servant can wear it again, because, again, the servant is the one that is actually powerful.
