The water of river ‘Luni’ is usable up to the district of Barmer.

Answer: Option (b)

Explanation:

Luni arises from the Naga Hills in the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan, which lies in the Ajmer district. Once it starts to flow it turns southwards towards Gujarat. It flows through the different plains and hills and through Rajasthan.

It flows through a number of places like Nagaur, Pali, Jodhpur, and Barmer. The river consists of freshwater till the Barmer district. Thereafter the content of the water turns saline and is not usable because of the rich content of salt.
