Answer:

THE MORNING DIVE

The water was cold, I took a deep breath and jumped into it. The first few seconds found me falling down from the huge cliff; my body went numb the moment it hit the ice cold water.

For ten years now, the diving exercise has been a part of my daily routine. I absolutely love my village pond and consider myself lucky to have been born here- a place that so abounds in natural resources! Our village is very green- there are lots of trees and water bodies but none of them is as deep and big as the village pond.

I love swimming and have even saved numerous children from drowning in the water. The pond overlooks a gigantic hill from the rocky cliff of which I dive every morning. This won't continue long, though. There hasn't been any rain in this region since three years now and I am afraid the pond would dry up in a couple of years if the situation continues this way.

The villagers have begun constructing check dams and gullies to help maintain our village pond. As long as we all together work to save our good old pond, there's a ray of hope!

MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST!! GOOD LUCK :))
