The wavelength of vibration produced on the surface of water is 2cm. If the wave velocity is 16m/s, calculate the number of wave produced in 1 second.​

Wave velocity = v = 16 ms-1

Frequency = f = ?

We know = v = λf

f =v/λ

f =16/0.02 = 800 Hz

800 waves are produced in one second

Time period=T=1/f

1/800=0.00125 seconds
