The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company!
Igazed--and gazed--but little thought

In this stanza poet describes that the waves of the stream were dancing besides the daffodils but the daffodils looked happiers than the waves .He want on looking at those daffodils and did not think what wealth of joy and peace that scene had brought to him.
