The way through the woods think and answer questions number 1. what do you think that the keeper does?
Answers
The keeper is someone who works for landlords. The work of the keepers was to roam about the woods and patrol the estates of their owners who are rich landlords. They were not rich enough to afford food. So they would turn out for a quick rabbit for the pot or a salmon for the grill.
They watched the woods through the nights from thieves. These keepers would walk around with guns, chasing and sending away anyone they found.
