Hi.

Here is your answer---

_______________________

Arranging the Numbers in a ascending order,

          9,9,10,10,12,13,14,16,20,20,21,22,25,26,36.

We can see the number of Weights(n) = 15.

Since, the number is odd, Formulas to Calculate the Median is---

   Median = [(n+1)/2]th term
                =  [(15 + 1)/2]th term.
                = 8th term.

Thus, in an group of 15 numbers which are arranged in an ascending order, the 8th term is 16.

Hence, Median is 6.

Hope it helps.

Have a nice day.

Concept Introduction:

Median is the middle term of the number when arranged in increasing order.

Given: Set of numbers 9,9,10,10,12,13,14,16,20,20,21,22,25,26,36.

To Find:

We have to find the value of, median.

Solution:

According to the problem,

Arranging the Numbers in a ascending order, 9,9,10,10,12,13,14,16,20,20,21,22,25,26,36.

We can see the number of Weights(n) = 15.

Since, the number is odd, Formulas to Calculate the Median is---

Median = [(n+1)/2]th term

             = [(15 + 1)/2]th term.

             = 8th term.

Thus, in an group of 15 numbers which are arranged in an ascending order, the 8th term is 16.

Hence, Median is 6.

Final Answer:

The value of median is 6.
