The weight of 12 students (in kg) are: 40, 61, 54, 50, 37, 51, 43, 48, 62, 46 and 34. Find the mean and median weight of them.​

Mean=Average

mean =  \frac{sum \: of \: all \: the \: weight \: of \: students}{total \: number \: of \: studnts}

So mean=

 \frac{40 +  61 +  54 +  50 + 37 +  51 +  43 + 48 + 62 + 46  +  34}{11}

by solving this we get

 \frac{526}{11}  = 47.5

so mean is 47.5
