THE WEIGHT OF 72 BOOKS IS 9KG WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF 40 SUCH BOOKS

Weight of 72 books = 9 kg
Weight of 1 book =9 ÷ 72 = 0.125 kg

Weight of 40 books = 0.125 x 40
= 5kg

x=125 g
wt of 40 books= 125*40=5000g
ans. 5 kg
