Weight =Mass×acceleration

Acceleration due to gravity on the earth's surface:

Weight=mg

49N=5×g

g = 9.8 m/s

Acceleration on the moon: 6 1 ×9.8=1.6333m/s  ^2

The weight on the moon:

5 × 1.6333= 8.1665 N

= 8.1665 N

Answer:

Weight =Mass-acceleration

✩5.0

Acceleration due to gravity on the earth's

surface:

Weight=mg

49N=5xg

g = 9.8 m/s

Acceleration on the moon: 61

x9.8-1.6333m/s ^2

The weight on the moon:

5 x 1.6333= 8.1665 N

= 8.1665 N
