Given,

Weight on Earth = 294N
We know that

Weight = mass x gravity

294 = mass x 9.4(gravity on earth= 9.4 m/s^2)

294= mass x 9.4

Mass = 294/9.4
= 31.2

Now

Weight on jupiter = 31.2 x 24.5
= 766.2N

GIVEN:

Weight of a body on earth=294 N

Acceleration due to gravity on Jupiter(gj) 24.5m/s²

TO FIND:

The body's weight on  Jupiter

SOLUTION:

To find the weight of the body on Jupiter we need to know the mass on earth. For that, we'll use the formula:

W=mg,

where w=weight

           m=mass of body

           g= acceleration due to gravity

W=mg\\m=\frac{W}{g} \\m=\frac{294}{9.4} \\m=31.2\frac{Ns^{2} }{m}

for weight on Jupiter, we have the mass of the body and acceleration due to gravity on Jupiter

W=mg\\W=31.2*24.5\\W=764.4N

Hence the weight of the body on Jupiter will be 764.4N
