The weight of a boy on the moon is 50 N and on a certain planet is 100 N
(a) Find the mass of the boy on the moon and on the planet
(b) Find the acceleration due to gravity on that planet

Answer:

weight= mg

50 N= mass×10m/s ( exactly g=9.8m/s but I taken it 10m/s)

mass=50/10

= 5KG

weight=mg

100N=mass×10m/s

mass= 10kg

b) acceleration due to gravity is constant 9.8m/s in any planet.
