\large\underline{\underline{\sf Given:}}

  • Weight of mass (m) = 60kg

  • Area of each foot (A) = 30cm² convert it into meter

•°• 30cm² =\sf{30×10^{-4}m^2}

\large\underline{\underline{\sf To\:Find:}}

  • Pressure excreted by him on earth if he stand on

(a) one foot = ?

(b) both feet = ?

\large\underline{\underline{\sf Solution:}}

We know ,

\large{\boxed{\sf Pressure (P)=\frac{Force}{Area}}}

Force (F) = Mass × g

\implies{\sf F= 60×10}

\implies{\sf F=600N }

(a) For One Foot Pressure (P) :

Area of one foot is = \sf{30×10^{-4}m} (Given)

•°• \large\implies{\sf P=\frac{600}{30×10^{-4}} }

\large\implies{\sf P=20000Pa }

(b) For Two Feet Pressure (P)

Area of one foot is = \sf{30×10^{-4}m}

•°• Area of two feet will be = \sf{30×10^{-4}×2}

\implies{\sf 60×10^{-4}m}

\large\implies{\sf P=\frac{600}{60×10^{-4}}}

\large\implies{\sf P=100000Pa}

\Large\underline{\underline{\sf Answer:}}

•°• Pressure for 1 foot is 200000 Pa and Pressure for 2 feet is 100000 Pa.
