Given :

  • Weight of stone in air ,Wa = 120 N

  • Weight of stone in water ,Wl = 100 N

To Find :

  • Buoyancy experienced by the stone .

Solution :

As we know that the force exerted by the fluid on a solid body when immersed partially or completely in it is called the buoyancy .

B = Wa - Wl

where,

B is the Buoyancy

Wa is the weight in air

Wl is the weight in water/liquid

Substitute the value we get

→ B = 120 N - 100 N

→ B = 20 N

Therefore,the buoyancy experienced by the stone is 20 Newton.

Answer :-

✯ 20 N ✯

Given :-

Weight of Stone in air (Wa) = 120 N

Weight of Stone in water (WI) = 100 N

To Find :-

Buoyancy experience by stone

Solution :-

Buoyancy :- It is the force exerted by a solid thing either partially or completely is called buoyancy.

➤ B = WA - WI

B = Buoyancy

WA = Weight of Stone in air

WI = Weight of Stone in water

➤ B = 120 - 100

➤ B = 20 N

Therefore, Buoyancy experienced by stone is 20 N
