Given,

The weight of 1 foot of wire = 2.4 kilograms

Given length of wire = 200 millimetres

For, calculating the weight of 200 millimetres wire,we have to calculate the weight of 1 millimetre wire.

Now,

1 foot = 304.8 millimetres (simple unit conversion)

So,

304.8 millimetres wire weighs = 2.4 kilograms

1 millimetres wire weighs = 2.4/304.8 kilograms

200 millimetres wire weighs = 2.4×200/304.8 = 1.5 kilograms (approx.)

Hence, the weight of 200 mm wire is approximately 1.5 kilograms.
