Weight of the object
At surface of earth = W

At height equal to R
W’ = W [R / (R + h)]^2
N = W [R / (R + R)]^2
N = W /4
W = 4N

At a height equal to 3R
W’ = W [R / (R + h)]^2
W’ = 4N [R / (R + 3R)]^2
W’ = 4N /16
W’ = N / 4

It’s weight at height equal to 3R is N/4
