the weight of body is different on different planets due to the difference of their gravitational force. Eg - If a body weighs 36 kg on Earth, then on moon the gravitational force is 1/6 of earths gravitational force so 1/6 X 36 = 6

Thus a 36 kg body on Earth weighs 6 kg in moon.
