The weight of body of mass 6 kg on moon is 10N . If a body of mass 30 kg goes to the moon surface what will be its Weight and mass?​

Given,

Mass of object =30 kg

As we know that:-

Weight of object on the moon= (1/6)×its weight on earth

So...

Weight of boy on moon becomes 1/6 mass of given object

I.e. .. 30 kg boy will weight 30 x (1/6)= 5kg

1 kg = 10 N

⇒ 5 × 10 N = 50 N

Weight of boy on moon surface = 50 N

Mass remains same it does not change So mass of boy 30 kg on earth = 30 kg on moon surface
