  • Simplifying the weight of one box :-

3 \frac{1}{2} =  \frac{3 \times 2 + 1}{2}   =  \frac{7}{2}  \\

 \rm{ =  \frac{7}{2}  \approx3.5  \: kg}\\

  • Finding weight of three such boxes :-

3.5 \times 3

 \rm{ = 10.5 \:kg }

∴ Hence, weight of three such boxes will be 10.5 kg.
