Answer:weight =  0 N

mass = 3 kg

Explanation:

weight = ma

= 3 * 0

weight = 0 N

mass can never be changed it remains the same at all places in the universe

mass = force / acceleration

= 30 / 10

mass = 3 kg

Answer:-

Given:-

  • Weight of the object (w) = 30 N
  • Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 m/

To Find:

  • Mass (m) of the particle and
  • weight in a place of zero gravity.

We know,

w = mg

where,

  • w = Weight,
  • m = Mass &
  • g = Acceleration due to gravity.

Or,

m = w/g

∴ m = (30 N)/(10 m/s²)

→ m = (30 kg m/s²)/(10 m/s²)

m = 3 kg

Mass of the object was of 3 kilograms.

Now, finding it's weight in zero gravity:-

w = mg

→ w = (3 kg)(0 m/s²)

w = 0 N

Weight of the object in zero gravity (of anything) is 0 N.
