weight = mg ( where m is mass and g is gravitational pull)

m is constant.

At poles, distance from center of earth to pole is lesser as compared to distance from center to equator, resulting in to more gravitational pull ( Gravitation force will be more if distance is less)

because of this reason weight of a body is more at poles than in equator
